I just feel so grateful for this journey. So far has it’s up and downs as it’s supposed to have and my emotional state is improving overall. I have so much more energy and motivation to keep this going.
This is all because of all the support I’m getting from the people I love and the #debtfreecommunity on Instagram. The energy starts to flow and I’m just really grateful.
To everyone who is supporting me: Thank you thank you thank you!
Also the people close to me are being really patient and helpful.
Being open about all my financial state of affairs has been eye opening. For some people this comes natural and for me it didn’t.
Even on the job interview I had yesterday I decided to just tell them straight up what the deal was.
Told them about my business failing, my debt and that my company debt is my student loan that taught me a lot. And that my “short-term” goal was to get financially stable as soon as possible.
It is actually a strength instead of a weakness is what they told me. And I now totally agree. Didn’t see it like that at first.
I’ve been conditioned in school to share the good grades and the positive stuff over the bad grades. Making mistakes was always a bad thing. That didn’t help with my avoider personality at all. Just made me hide my mistakes even more.
Not trying to blame school for this. Because I could also have viewed every bad grade at school as an opportunity to get better at the “delivering bad news” skill. Things were different back then.
Right now I believe that real growth comes from mistakes. Not everything has to be trial and error but those are the lessons that you really remember because they were painful to some extent.
Is my life perfect yet?
Far from it but I’m coping with it a lot better than for example a year ago.
I feel super warm and fuzzy about this whole journey.
Once again thanks for all your kind words and actions people ?
